Lily shuffled along the long corridors, her feet limply going up the stairs whenever she ran into them. It was Sunday and the day was cool. She was draped in a thicker cloak, that she held closer to her thin body. She hated weekends, mostly due to the fact that when she was finished with her work she had nothing else to do besides walk around.
This weekend, however, was unlike any other weekend she had ever had, in her own opinion. She was talking to Severus again, that was actually an understatment, they were doing more than just talking. Not to mention she found out he wasn't the same Severus she knew. He was twenty years older, he'd come from the future. She shook her head. Life was crazy, how was she supposed to handle all of this?
She slowly walked up another set of tairs. She was going nowhere in particular, just wherever her legs led her. She pulled a few loose strands of her hair out of her eyes and tucked them behind her ear. She sighed as she reached the last step, leading her to the sixth floor. She was getting rather tired. She'd been walking for at least an hour now, just in an effort to do something. The castle was huge.
She made her way further down the corridors, her hands shoved into the depths of her cloak's pockets. She hung her head down slightly, her green eyes examining the ground with each and every step. She glanced up. She saw someone. She knew the girl, she was in the same year as Lily was, so they shared a few classes. She was a Ravenclaw. She smiled at the other girl and walked over to her, hoping for some distraction.
"Hi. Kristin, right?" She asked with a small grin. "I'm Lily."

Kristin was walking along the 6th floor corridor not really paying attention to where she was going. It was Sunday and was a little chilly out so she had a thinker cloak on then she normally would. It was just draped over her shoulders just to keep the chill off her cause she hated when she was chilly.
Kristin had a lot of things on her mind. She didn't really have anyone to talk to about different things since her mother died when she was 10 years old. It was just before her 11th birthday when it happened but that wasn't what was on her mind or bothering her. What was bothering her was that her father wanted her to join the Dark Lord even though she didn't want to. She didn't have the same ideals as he did and did care if you were Muggle Born or Pureblood or even if you were a werewolf. Nothing like that bothered her and never would. She took after her mother with that.
She walked up some stairs before turning to the left and walking down the corridor. As she was walking her head was down and her eyes were on the floor so she didn't see anyone walk up to her. She jumped slightly as she looked up and seen a Gryffindor girl that was in her year and in a few of her classes. She smiled slightly when the Gryffindor, now known as Lily, greeted and introduced herself.
"Hi Lily and yes I'm Kristin." she said with a small smile on her face.

"Well, then nice to meet you Kristin!" She greeted.
Lily liked to meet new people. She liked having friends. She liked the idea of having people with you who actually like to hear you talk. Of course, that was excluding the Marauder's, especially since she found out that James had married her in the future. She shuddered at the thought. But the thought of the child she was supposed to have made her smile. She wondered what he was like.
She focused her attention back on the other girl. She was pretty, she was sure some men would even say she was highly attractive. Of course, Lily was a girl and wasn't one to judge other females on appereance. She would leave that to the male species, rather than her. She glanced around as she usually did. She noted that they were on the same floor as the Ravenclaw towers, which made it no wonder that she would run into a Ravenclaw. In her opinion that was the second best house.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
Lily was also a very curious young woman. She liked to know about people and what they liked. In this case, she liked to know where the other was going, or if she was more like Lily and just wandering about. That's one reason she tended to like Ravenclaw more than some other houses.
(I have to go now..)

"Its nice to meet you too." Kristin said with a big smile on her face. She loved meeting new people and getting new friends. She had seen Lily at a distance but never really got to talk to her until now. Usually either Lily or herself were busy with their friends or just weren't paying attention enough to get to know one another.
"So have you been up to anything fun or exciting?" She asked Lily after a few minutes of silence. She could tell that Lily had a lot of things on her mind but wasn't going to ask her what since it wasn't any of her business.
Her thoughts went to what her father was planning on her to do once she got out of Hogwarts. She shuddered at the thought of joining Voldemort. Of course she doesn't have anyone to talk to about what her father wants her to do since she doesn't really trust her friends in Ravenclaw completely especially with this. If she had someone to talk to she wouldn't always be lost in thought or be by herself a lot like she is now because she's been avoiding all her friends.
"I'm not going anywhere really. Just walking around trying to get a few things through my mind. Though I suppose you don't want to hear about all my problems with my life." Kristin said with a small shrug.

Lily was always pleased when she was able to meet new people, and though they had offically met, sort of, Lily preffered this sort of meeting. She really liked to get to know another person, rather than just simply meeting them. What fun would that be? She grinned at the other girk. She seemed really nice. She guessed they could be good friends. It would be nice to make a new friend. She wanted to.
Lily frowned and shook her head. Hidden under that frown was a secret she shouldn't tell. If she told a soul she was sure to be ran off to St. Mungo's along with Severus. Their secret was unlogical and unrealistic. How could anyone travel so far back in time? The only device that could do this was a time turner, and how could one be that strong? And Severus never turned it. None of it made sense. And no matter how much she wanted to talk to someone about, she also knew it couldn't happen.
"No. Mostly been studying. The Professors are giving out so much for our N.E.W.T.s." She added, shaking her head. "I'll be glad when it's all over. You?" She asked, turning the conversation on her.
She nodded. So the other was in her same predictament? Well, at least Lily wasn't keeping her from going to some location. That was good. What the girl said, however, caught her interest. She did want to know. Lily was curious and though she wasn't exactly the nosy type, if the other brings it up, Lily would like to hear. She liked to listen to other people's lives. They were always so much better than her own.
"Me too." She replied. "Oh. I woouldn't mind." She grinned.
