Character Name: Alex Cien Year: 6th Position: Chaser Roleplay Sample: Alex smartly pulled on the last items of his Quidditch robes. He was getting used to the Ravenclaw blue, he had worn the same colour at Durmstrang. There were only two houses at Durmstrang, compared to the Hogwarts four. But then again, Durmstrang only had four floors and half the amount of students, so it seemed logical. Klyk Vampira was his house. Alex smiled, after meeting his best friend - a vampire, Vampire's Fang seemed like an ironic name. Klyk Vampira, Alex supposed, would be the equivalent of Slytherin and Ravenclaw merged together. Taking his Comet Two Ninety in his newly gloved hand, Alex followed his other team mates onto the pitch. It was only a practice, but they had a match against Slytherin on saturday, and they needed all the help they could get. Smiling at a poster of the Vratsa Vultures, his own team, Alex stepped carefully onto the grass.

Character Name: Gideon Wulfric Prewett Year: Seventh Position: Beater, Captain Roleplay Sample:
The Quidditch pitch stretched out, a sinster shadow cast on it by the clouds promising snow to anyone, Muggle forecaster to Divinations student to Quidditch player. This was exactly the kind of day that Gideon liked to sneak some extra flying time in on. The cold miserable weather meant that he didn't have an audience. He took to his broom slowly, making a few cautious laps around the pitch, checking over his shoulder again to make sure that no one was watching. He smiled and leaned down, aloowing himself to pick up speed.
The feeling was amazing, comparable to nothing he had ever experienced anywhere. Not even sex. Of course, the latter was better but he could not always be chasing after some girl. That was exhausting. This was much freeer, much easier. It felt like, well, he was flying. It was a good release after he had spent so much time in class today frustrated. For once, it hadn't been a girl, or even a guy, that was annoying him. It was instead the class itself. They were practicing wordless magic, something that came easy to Gideon. He was good with wandwork, if not with Potions, Herblology, or anything else dealing with other things. Wands were what he was most comfortable with. He smiled at the double meaning and it's obvious untrue insinuation. He was a teenage boy, after all, and that was how his mind was supposed to work.
The issue, however, was not his skill but his boredom. It was a hard life after all, to be good at something. He really shouldn't complain, as many would love to share his complaint. Especially someone like Crabbe, he smirked as he climbed higher, almost brushing the top of the stands. The time he spent on this vital skill irked him, however, because he liked action. He was supposed to be out there doing something, damn it, not in a classroom trying to beat someone to the punch in a mock duel. He wanted to scream, but instead, for once, he had done the mature thing. He had grabbed his broom and rode towards the sky.
By this time, he had climbed so high, he could barely see any of the structures beneath him. His skin registered the cold, and setn goosebumps down his arms, but his teeth did not betray him with a single sound as his clenched them together. He rolled down the sleeves of his sweater in a careful balancing act, one arm wrestling with the thick wool while the other clenched the broom, knuckles as white as the snow that had finally started to fall. His mother had knit the sweater for im, the blue precisely matching that of Ravenclaw. In the back of his head, he wondered if his mother had wished his sweater to be red, like his sister's and Fabian's, but he pushed that thought away. It was the damn Marauders that made everyone feel like it was teh best house. He liked being in Ravenclaw. His house had the intelligence, the charsma thatt the others seemed to lack. While they may not be swashbuckling heroes, Ravenclaws were made of sturdier stuff than bravado and one time deals. They were reason, he thought, and rational thinking. He puffed out his chest for a moment, but that threw him off balance and so he had to shrink back down into the classic Quidditch player's stance. He hated sweaters anyway.
Even with the cloud cover, the sky started to darken slwoly. Gideon began his descent. He would have to hurry to catch the tail end of dinner in the Great Hall before heading to the Tower. Hopefully, he would be able to catch a few hours of sleep before Dirk and Amadeus and Fabian and everyone else hit the sack. He could use some time to take a refresher on the material they would be tested on tomorrow in Charms. As his feet touched he could feel the water from the snow creeping up his leg. He took his broom and started to head up the path to the castle. It looked almost pretty, lit up against the snow in it's own astonishing way. As pretty as a medieval castle could look, of course.
Hopefully there would be some food left when he got there.
